No, I mean that when you provide "portable" code with ODBC, the SQL has to
be something you configure in a file so that small differences in SQL
dialect can be addressed. There's no way to write anything that works on all
databases unless it's very trivial. Although this SQL kind of is, so I'm
hoping it works for a few databases.

Yeah, that's a big myth. "Derived from" is not relevant. It just means it's
an RPM platform.

If not, I doubt you'll find anything major here we can't fix.
