As of today, all of the Shibboleth dependencies are in their "what I need
for 2.0" state:

curl/openssl (nothing new here)
log4shib 1.0 (tagged, prepped)
xerces 2.8.0 (out for a while now)
xml-security-c 1.4.0 (I just released it)

Xerces and XML-Sec are used as delivered, so the sources from the Apache
site can be used directly. I have prepared an SRPM for each and uploaded a
signed copy to our SRPMS folder as well. Binaries will follow eventually.

The log4shib tarball is also uploaded, along with the SRPM.

My next step is to get a release candidate of 1.3.1 prepared and install it
on spaces and probably a server or two here at OSU where it will get some
traffic and I'll see how that goes. Bugs permitting I'll turn that directly
into the final release, and get all the old packages and dependencies
removed following that so we'll finally be in a clean state.

I will also be making various packaging source material available for the
dependencies, including Mac and pkg_src portfiles (pkg_src is a NetBSD thing
but it works on Solaris). However, I'm only planning on doing the Shibboleth
portfiles for 2.0 in order to encourage people to move there.
