Shibboleth Developers

I am currently sourcing a unix box and a windows server to test the
shibboleth software.
Would it be possible for you to clarify some of the following queries?

In relation to the windows server, we are planning to purchase a server,
which has Xeon Dual Core DP processor.
I understand that this is a 64 bit processor, which leads to the
following question

A) I understand there are 2 versions of windows 2003, one geared towards
the 32 bit processor, whilst the other version is targeted at the 64 bit 
processor. Will shibboleth work on either of these operating systems, most 
importantly will it work on the windows 2003 x64 platform.


With respect to the unix box, we are planning on purchasing an entry
level server. The server we are wishing to purchase is
shipped with the latest version of solaris, which is Solaris 10. Will
shibboleth work on Solaris 10 and if so, which version of shibboleth
will this be?
