I recall reading somewhere that a CAS filter was planned to be bundled in
Shib 1.3 IdP, so you could use a CAS based SSO 'out-of-the-box' so to
speak.
 
Not that doing it yourself is much tricky, nevertheless I'm wondering
where I got that information from. I don't see it in the 1.3 IdP code
base.
