I've built packages for curl, openssl, log4cpp, xerces, xml-security, mysql,
opensaml, and shibboleth with Sun CC 5.7 on Solaris 2.8 (32bit Sparc)
against the latest Apache, Apache2, and SunOne Web Server.
These should be considered the reference builds on Solaris, and I will
probably stop testing gcc/g++ on Solaris for the time being though I would
imagine they will continue to work.
The dependencies are "official" builds at this point:

They do not depend on each other, per se, I didn't want people unable to use
local builds of these things like OpenSSL, if you have them already. They
will prompt for the install location, and /usr/local will work fine, but you
can put them anywhere.
The OpenSAML and Shib builds are the latest beta code, and I will be
updating the source, RPMs, Windows builds, etc to match these today. So all
current fixes are in them.

The Shib package is quite dumb, does not protect any config files, and will
delete itself including any files with the same names as during install, so
be a little cautious uninstalling this. I hope to implement some rudimentary
protection for this by release time.
MySQL and Shib install to /opt/mysql and /opt/shibboleth. I can change those
if people have a different preference, although MySQL takes a day to build,
so have a good reason.
I've done very basic testing with Apache 2, and will be focusing on Sun One
testing since that's the thing we wanted to get out of switching to Sun CC.
