I'm very new to the project and so don't know alot of the history of why things are done/named how they are, but I must confess that I was more than a little confused regarding package names when setting up a development server. Perhaps it is already part of the planned naming transition (origin/target -> IdP/SP), but I didn't quite understand why the target is simply "shibboleth" while the origin is "shibboleth-origin". If it's important to keep these as two separate packages, perhaps clearer names would be good?
Also, both the origin and target deployment guides use a default installation directory of `/opt/shibboleth`. Are there any possible ramifications of installing these on top of each other like this? Perhaps recommend installation directories of `/opt/shibboleth-IdP` and `/opt/shibboleth-SP` or something similar?
...just some initial thoughts I've had while getting acquainted with the project
