Let me chat with my Internet2 colleagues that work on international partnerships.  They may provide some introductions to individuals within the countries you are interested in connecting with. 

 

It’s absolutely technically possible.  Internet2 would be happy to provide the zoom videoconferencing platform we will use for PPSP to fascinate the video connection unless you want to use your NPS infrastructure.  You might check with Jim McGettigan on that piece as well.

Thanks. I'm still not sure if we at Herbert Hoover National Historic Site will participate or not. But, I can tell you what we really want to do, and you can tell me if Internet2 can help us with it.

 

We were thinking about trying to connect with a school or schools in Belgium, Poland, or other countries where Hoover worked on food relief during and after the world wars. 

• Do you have contacts that might be able to facilitate something like that?
• Or, if we can make contact with someone who is interested would we be able to work through Internet2 to make it happen?
• Might this be technically feasible or what is needed to make it so?

I'd be glad to hear you thoughts on this idea.
