Hello All

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend the call, but I’ve read the notes and have been following the conversation thus far.

Last year we switched to using a Zoom platform for all of our regular distance learning programming, and some of our other professional development programs. It’s fabulous. You can connect to it from an H.323 system if you have one, or any internet-connected device – even an iPad or iPhone. I support using Zoom or similar platform.

Thanks for including Ford’s in the loop,

Alex

We borrowed long-distance learning equipment from another park the last two years and this year would like to purchase our own. Last year we were told that LifeSize, what we were using, is no longer preferred. Can anyone share what equipment they use and what will work best with these presentations?

Thanks!

Looks good to me.

I think we made it a point to bring up the limitations of the platform last year.  I think we should evaluate what platforms are working every year.  Things change so fast.

I think any theme will be good.  The great thing about Presidential History is we can view all American History through the context of the Presidency.  :)

HI Matt:

I was unable to make the call, but read the notes, so thank you for those. I would echo that if we could move to make the programs available via some desktop programs such as Zoom or Blue Jeans, that would be ideal. Many of our schools are no longer purchasing the traditional H.323 systems due to the expense.

Thank you!

Mary
