is there a log file for plugin issues, and where is the log file location..

i suspect it could be a legacy issue with my plugin OpenSearch backend Grafana uses to pull data from PerfSonar to Display

How did you get to this point? Is it a fresh installation of 5.2 or an upgrade from previous version? Is it your own Grafana instance or deployed from perfSONAR bundle?

From the message I would say there is something with dashboard variables definition but hard to say without more information
