Hi,

I was able to make the MaDDash-like displays work. However, for some odd reason, the perfSONAR Main Dashboard is giving an OpenSearch Error and No Data. In addition, it’s showing a different server than our central archive. Where is this configured?

The perfSONAR Main Dashboard Shows the following:

perf5ONAR on on ps-dev-staging-el9-archive1.c.esnet-perfsonar.internal

OpenSearch error: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <html><head> <title>404 Not Found</title> </head><body> <h1>Not Found</h1> <p>The requested URL was not found on this server.</p> </body></html>

I followed the documentation on how to create MaDDash-like displays in Grafana using a new pSConfig Grafana Agent and the “cookbook” for setting up a central OpenSearch Archive with Grafana.

The perfSONAR Main Dashboard populates as expected with different test points, but when I click on “All perfSONAR Measurements”, it only shows No Data. I believe this is where the MaDDash like grid shows up but I am having trouble showing data.

Are you sure your testpoints send and store data properly to the central archive? Did you use "--configure-archive" option for "psconfig remote add" to tell the testpoints to store the data into central archive?

Also remember to allow testpoints' IPs in the archive server: https://docs.perfsonar.net/multi_ma_install.html#authenticating-by-ip-address


I ran psconfig publish and psconfig remote on both the central archive and testpoints. Grafana Agent does show the JSON when I run psconfig remote list

 

Where do you run the "psconfig remote list" ?

You may look for errors in the psconfig log
