Hi again,

I think I found my own answers, though not what I thought they would be.

First, my current suite of Testpoints are running Centos7, they are from 2019.  The implication being that they can't be upgraded to perfSONAR 5.1.0.  I'll need to move them to one of the supported OSs, Debian, Ubuntu or EL9 family.

Second, I dropped a Rocky9 5.1.0 Testpoint into the established Maddash mix.  I added the second .json file.  It updates just fine to the new Archive Grafana server but it leaves a trail dark cells in the original Maddash grid?!?

A look at the pscheduler log file shows:
Unable to validate test spec: Unknown archiver plugin 'esmond'
I'm going to bet the meaning of this error is that 5.1.0 doesn't support Esmond any longer and therefore the end of the line for Maddash compatibility.

Not software issues, nor completely unexpected, but these seemed useful bits to keep in mind as you plan ahead.

Phil

I'd like to update the Testpoints to 5.1.0, would both the older Maddash and new Archive grids continue to work?  (I assume the duplicate tests would continue to be needed, for a short transition time.)
