Looks like my issue is my system upgraded to 5.0 and broke my Madash/Archieve (central management set up)  capability.

No more Esmond, got it, do I need to uninstall my old Esmond and install the new achieve?

Thanks

Phil

Thanks

Looks like I am running Maddash

Installed Packages

Name        : maddash

Arch        : noarch

Version     : 5.0.8

Release     : 1.el7

Size        : 12

Repo        : installed

From repo   : perfSONAR

Summary     : MaDDash

URL         : http://www.perfsonar.net

License     : distributable, see LICENSE

Description : MaDDash is a framework for scheduling service checks and displaying results in a grid. This package

: installs a default set of modules that can be used to perform basic maddash functions.

Cent OS 7.

No data getting to the central MA

Ma has the IP registration and worked for years.

Probably a stupid question, hopefully an easy fix, but I am really stuck on what to do next.

I have a madash centralized set up with 7 or so endpoints(CentOS). Worked for 3 years or so with no problems.

About a year ago, the web page grid stopped working. I just recently had time to work on it.

I got the grid showing up, and endpoints are getting the schedule and doing the tests.

The end points can do curl -k http://x.x.x.x/psconfig/final.json no issues.

But when then the endpoints do curl -k https://localhost/esmond/perfsonar/archive/?limit=10  I get nothing but [].

I have verified that the test endpoints are doing the tests curl http://testbox/esmond/perfsonar/archive/?event-type=packet-trace

I have looked at the logfiles that I could think of, and nothing.

Anybody have any ideas?????

Hi Philip,

Which versions do you use?

I'm not sure I understood the question. Is your data not available in the local archive (the one the endpoint) or in the central Esmond MA?

You can look at past runs with the "pscheduler schedule" command. Pick a run URL from one of them and do a:
$ pscheduler result --diags --archivings <URL>
to see if they were archived to Esmond

Did you make sure that IPs of endpoints are allowed in central MA? (see https://docs.perfsonar.net/previous_releases/v4.4.6/multi_ma_install.html#authenticating-by-ip-address). There could be http errors in logs.

Regards,
