perfSONAR User Q&A and Other Discussion

This is still broken for me with the release of v5.0.6-1. On a system with working lsregistration, the file /etc/perfsonar/lsregistration.conf is moved to /etc/perfsonar/lsregistration.conf.dpkg-bak with no replacement, and lsregistration is now broken. Renaming the file to *.conf and restarting the service still corrects the problem.

Is the process failing because the config file isn't present? If so, how do I generate a default config? 

Hi Adam,

I can confirm there is an error seen when doing upgrade. I created an issue for this https://github.com/perfsonar/toolkit/issues/447 and our developers will look at this.

Does you system have lsregistrationdaemon.conf.dpkg-bak file saved in /etc/perfsonar ?
