Greetings Mark,
Thanks for the update and sharing the upgrade info.
In fact, I have a question regarding the Log4j. our Security Tools shows that our perfSonar is vulnerable for Log4j. is this correct? And if so, what the action that we need to do?
Thanks a lot for your support.

This message is of interest to anyone who uses a custom pScheduler limit configuration on their perfSONAR systems.
In perfSONAR 4.4, we deprecated the “test” limit, which adds complexity to the software and has been obsoleted by newer features. Support for it will be removed entirely in 5.0. Because many custom limit configurations were based on the one that shipped with the toolkit, we wanted to give everyone a heads-up well in advance. The required changes can be made and put into production on 4.4 without problem, which will eliminate one thing that needs to be done when the upgrade happens.*
Full details can be found here: https://github.com/perfsonar/pscheduler/wiki/Removal-of-the-test-Limit
If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to drop me or the development team a line.

*The release schedule for 5.0 has not been set yet.
