We have a 1-week pause, and will continue on August 13th with Phil Hippensteel from the Pennsylvania State University, and he will be talking about “The Video Industry and the Struggle with Standards”.  More info coming soon.

The next CI Eng Lunch & Learn talk will occur Friday July 30th, 2021 @ 2pm ET.  The talk is entitled “perfSONAR's new Test and Tool plugins: BSSID scanner, 802.1X, DHCP, Speedtest, pScheduler internals, MTU tester, port mapper, Halfping (latency), and Latency in the cloud: OWAMP & NATs” and it will be presented by the following University of Michigan students and staff:

Here is a quick abstract for the talk:  

Discussing the 8 new plugins that were written this summer and integrated into perfSONAR. These include a BSSID Scanner, 802.1x authentication, DHCP response time, Speedtest, pScheduler Response Time, MTU tester,  multi-participant idle, and port scanning.
