Is there a plan / timeline to support Ubuntu 20.04?
Support for Ubuntu 20 is in the works and our Debian/Ubuntu guru says we should have something to release around the end of May.
RedHat’s CentOS 8 announcement has prompted some changes in the way we approach OS support. Our model up to now has been that CentOS was the reference implementation and Debian and Ubuntu were treated as ports. There’s development underway in the pScheduler build tree that puts everything on equal footing. If that turns out well, we’ll start adopting it in other parts of the project and that should make support for new distributions and versions easier in the future.
