Hello Allan,

In order to have a dashboard like this you would need to start with having some measurement points, a measurement archive and a perfSONAR central configuration management file. Then a perfSONAR MaDDash would allow you to review the results for these measurements on a nice GUI.

For a sole perfSONAR MaDDash deployment the requirements are not high, but also not clearly specified. For a mesh like: ESnet to DOE Sites Dashboard the requirements are minimal. I reckon: a VM with CPU 2Ghz x2, 4GB RAM, 40GB disk and 100M/s NIC.

As for documentation I should follow:

http://docs.perfsonar.net/maddash_install.html

But most likely you would also benefit from a pSConfig to ease you on maintenance of the dashboard.

http://docs.perfsonar.net/psconfig_intro.html

Regards,

Ivan Garnizov

Good Morning,

I work for a medium-sized ISP and I wanted to implement our own instance of Maddash. I was wondering what the neccesary  dimension the compute/storage/network resources will be needed. Also, if there was a guide I could follow to create my own maddash such as this

thank you so much!

-Allan
