Just an FYI in case anyone ever comes across this issue.

We found an issue in the Esmond logs on the MA that seemed to point to an issue with not being able to connect to the Cassandra db on its port.  This led us to seeing that Cassandra exited as soon as the service was started.    When we looked at the logs within Cassandra itself, and after a bit of googling, we found it was caused by an issue with Cassandra and the version of Java we had (version 10).  The fix was to downgrade the java version to 8 (as it was also apparently an issue in Java 9).

We restarted Cassandra service, which remained active, and allowed Esmond to connect to the Cassandra instance.

All working, now, but thanks for everyones help.

Cheers

Jack

Try opening the same URLs, but from the size it seems like they are not
finding any results? Could it be the packet-loss-rate tests are not
running often enough for time-range=2700?
