Our University is standing up a 100gbit network and I am researching some 100gbit perfsonar node builds for internal testing. Does anyone have any recent builds and/or quotes I could crowdsource? I was going to base our initial build on one of our recent (2 years old) HPC cluster compute nodes, 28 core Xeon E5-2680, 128gb RAM, m.2 or nvme drive. I’d like to look at a build someone may already be running in a lab environment and how they feel about the performance- any preferred component vendors or configuration gotchas?
