Hi Andy,

/etc/hosts is simply:

[root@ps ~]# cat /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1   localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4
::1         localhost localhost.localdomain localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6

Hopefully this isn't "red herring" information, but  FWIW, I think problems started ~16-Aug and the 4.0.2=>4.1 update.

I'll send you the debug output off-list.

Thanks,
Kathy

Hi Kathy,

So this one has got me legitimately confused. I am looking through your pscheduler results and it shows all your tests getting results and archiving is succeeding. Example: https://ps.ncar.xsede.org/pscheduler/tasks/cebb41b9-ecb3-475c-8bd6-83e87aa40f5e/runs/54170b52-e686-4d05-a366-20a19fdaa045?pretty

When query your archive though, I just see that data for the tests on the web page. Example: https://ps.ncar.xsede.org/esmond/perfsonar/archive/?time-range=86400

Perhaps try running "pscheduler debug on archiver", wait a few minutes, run "pscheduler debug off archiver" and send me /var/log/pscheduler/pscheduler.log off-list. That should show exactly what is getting sent to the archive.

It almost seems like it is shipping the results someplace else. Shot in the dark, but anything strange in /etc/hosts with regards to the ps.ncar.xsede.org name?

Thanks,
Andy

XSEDE perfSONAR ps.ncar.xsede.org reads the same meshconfig file as eight
other XSEDE pSs, but displays very few test results on its homepage. While
it should show throughput/latency/loss with all XSEDE pSs (plus a few
manually configured tests with non-XSEDE pSs), it only shows reverse latency
with ps.sdsc, ps.tacc, and a pS at Stanford.

Test results initiated by other XSEDE pSs with ps.ncar show up consistently
on their homepages.

I believe ps.ncar is scheduling tests.

I don't see obvious errors in the log files I've checked. Where should I be
looking to identify and fix the problem?

Kathy
