Hi,

Try running the following to see if it corrects the database problem: 

/usr/lib/perfsonar/scripts/system_environment/configure_esmond --force

Something must have gone wrong during the database setup. That should setup the database again and hopefully fix your error.

I installed the perfSONAR 4.0.2 toolkit on the server with CentOS 7. After
completing the settings following the documentation, the web page showed a
internal server error. So we found this error in Esmond Django logs, 'password
authentication failed for user "esmond" '.

I did not set up any passwords for Esmond and I have tried on re-installing
esmond and rebooting the server but nothing worked. I'd appreciate if anyone
could point out any missed steps or problems.
