Hi all,

It appears that Cassandra is responsible for the high load, it stucks in something, cassandra is not listening in localhost:9160 port!

How do I correct this Cassandra problem?

Thank you.

The toolkit GUI for configuration tab is unresponsive!

The test configuration used to be a file that I can manually edited, but I don’t know how I can do that without using the GUI now.

I don’t even know how many tests  this server have configured. I tried to remove that old, bad hosts from the system, but I was not able to.

I noticed new RPMs for perfsonar this morning and rebooted the system, load goes high again. I can not use the GUI “configuration” editor.

Thank you.

Hi Andrew,

After I posted the email,  the load of the server came down after 1 hour of reboot, right about the system reboot, load stayed high in the 30+ range.  The system load is in the 1-2 range currently.  As a consequence, the throughput tests are working properly (with numbers that I expect)

We have about 125 powstream process, I tried to trim old, obsolete entries from configuration, but I the web page for that does not respond.

Do you know what daemons I should restart?

Hi,

How many tests does you host run? Does the above number matches 4x the number of tests in your host?

When you mention the web page, is this the test configuration tab in toolkit GUI which becomes unresposive?
