You are correct, when I checked the status of the PostgeSQL, it showed as failed. I was unable to restart the service. I digged around the logs and PostgeSQL files as you suggested and found the "pg_hba.conf" was blank. I copied one from a working device and this resolved all the issues. 

 

This is the result of the RPM spec for pscheduler-server, not making changes to that file in an atomic way.  You may have encountered a failure during an upgrade that left the file empty, which is a bug.

 

I’ve opened an issue on it (https://github.com/perfsonar/pscheduler/issues/558) and will have code in place to prevent that from happening when we release 4.0.2 in a couple of weeks.
