pScheduler API Workshop available in YouTube Channel

Following yesterday's pScheduler API workhop the perfSONAR Project team is pleased to announce the release of webinar's recording on Project's YouTube channel.

pScheduler is the new test scheduler introduced in perfSONAR 4.0. One of its features is a REST API, which turns perfSONAR nodes into building blocks for other systems, reducing the need to build up additional remote measurement infrastructure, and ensuring more-accurate results by working cooperatively around other measurement activities. From a practical standpoint, this feature allows the user to give pScheduler measurement tasks, retrieve the results, and analyze important information about the system and the tasks it's performing.

Topics covered in this workshop include: reviewing the basic concepts, generation of tasks, the task lifecycle, retrieval and formatting of results, enumeration of installed plug-ins, and examination of pScheduler’s timeline.
