That is DNS or hosts file, it is not specific to perfSonar.
Step 1 of this link http://sharadchhetri.com/2014/09/27/set-hostname-fqdn-centos-7-rhel-7/ that edits the hosts file.

Unless you're talking about the message you first got after installation that says you can access http://<hostname> and not the actual hostname.
