The issue for us was an errant tab indentation in the conf file. However, we are still only seeing inconsistent reporting to maddash from mesh nodes. On Wed, Aug 10, 2016 at 4:49 PM, John Simpkins <> wrote:Hi Michael! We did set configure_archives 1 in our meshconfig-agent.conf for each machine. I'm wondering if there's something odd occurring with the MA type specification, but don't know why that would prevent MA settings from coming over with the mesh configuration from the json file.http://docs.perfsonar.net/config_mesh.html#type-directive seems to reference types that are outdated.http://docs.perfsonar.net/config_regular_testing.html#type- seems to reference newer types.directive On Wed, Aug 10, 2016 at 4:44 PM, Michael Johnson <> wrote:Hi John,
You may need to add
configure_archives 1
to /etc/perfsonar/meshconfig-agent.conf, in the same <mesh> section where you set the URL for the meshconfig JSON.

We are currently having trouble configuring our nodes to report to the
central measurement archive. Our mesh nodes successfully pull test blocks
from the central configuration file but seem not to pull the measurement
archive blocks.

Hi,
My Maddash is not updating the dashboard and showing all orange squares.
It may be that my measement nodes are not sending the tests to the
measurement archive. Though I have no idea how to fix this.
Can you help?
Many thanks,
Andreas
Hi Andreas,
Are there any errors in /var/log/regulartesting.log,
var/log/httpd/error_log and files under /var/log/esmond/ in the measurement
node ?
What happens if you try to open url like: http://<your-MA-hostname-here>
/esmond/perfsonar/archive?format=json ? Does it bring any data from MA ?
Can
