Joon;
Seems a bug. you can bypass the bug by
1, stop perfsonar-ui/tomcat
2, rm /var/lib/perfsonar-ui/database/ or move it to other places
3, start perfsonar-ui/tomcat

The newly added user will be loaded into the DB.

Hi all,

I am also encountering this problem. Based on the documentation, one can add/delete/modify users by modifying the "/usr/share/perfsonar-ui-web/perfsonar-ui/WEB-INF/classes/usersdetails.xml” file.

I tried this and restarted the tomcat service, but the changes are not applied to the perfSONAR UI web service.

Does anyone know how to make changes to user accounts in perfSONAR UI? I have version perfsonar-ui-web-1.7.0-1.

Thanks,
Joon

The "ADD user" interface in perfsonarUI 1.7 does not work, also manually adding user to usr/share/perfsonar-ui-web/perfsonar-ui/WEB-INF/classes/usersdetails.xml not working either. Seems now credentials are saved in DB, not in this text file any more.
