Hi guys,

I am still trying to install from rpms files. I was already using EPEL repo configuration and the latest I2 repo.

It seems it is missing the Esmond files. I was comparring with the latest installation I did, and the directory /opt/esmond is

not present in this installation. Is it correct to do this way?

It is still no working.

The one broken link has been corrected as of this morning. Everything else on that page should be accurate as far as doing a standalone install of esmond.

It looks like these installation instructions are a bit outdated indeed.  The first thing I would try to correct is using the latest Internet2 repository setup coming from this RPM: http://downloads.perfsonar.net/redhat/main/rpms/el6/i386/main/RPMS/Internet2-repo-0.6-1.noarch.rpm

After installing it, you’ll probably receive some more RPM updates from yum.  Hopefully that should solve your issues.  esmond is known to be running on CentOS 6.7 as it is what we use for the perfSONAR toolkit.

The simplest installation path should be:

1. Install a clean CentOS 6.7
2. Install the latest EPEL repo configuration from http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/x86_64/repoview/epel-release.html
   
3. Install the latest I2 repo configuration from http://downloads.perfsonar.net/redhat/main/rpms/el6/i386/main/RPMS/Internet2-repo-0.6-1.noarch.rpm
   
4. Install esmond with a regular `yum install esmond`

All dependencies should be automatically solved.

I tried to disable SELINUX already, but no effect.

I tried to access http://<your-host>/esmond/perfsonar/archive/?format=json but it doesn't show anything.

I can see the traffic caming to the host, but no response from the server.

I can not see anything from the log files.

Could be some problem the the OS version? In the last time I installed it I use Centos 6.6.

The purpose in installing it is to test the integration between Esmond and MONIPE MA.

I would like to test the last version of Esmond.

Any hints?
