Hi,

You should remove the metaDataKeyLookup property that references the URL from your maddash.yaml entirely. The property and the script have been deprecated for quite some time I suspect the host in question had previously run maddash? I just confirmed the default configuration file does not activate this property by default.

Hope that helps,
Andy

Hi all,

I installed a MaDDash server(1.3-1) on a separate, non-Toolkit host,
to ensure it does not affect test results. I saw the error log in
/var/log/maddash/maddash-server.log, it shows that :
script not found or unable to stat: /usr/lib/perfsonar/graphs/cgi-bin/metaKeyReq.cgi

I can't find "metaKeyReq.cgi" in my new MaDDash server or in my
new toolkit(3.5.1). So I checked the maddash.yaml file, does anyone know
which URL I should fill (New MaDDash server or any toolkit server )
to replace example.mydomain.local?

#the hostname in the URL (example.mydomain.local), to the name of your toolkit host
#and it will work. You can leave the rest of the URL untouched.
metaDataKeyLookup: "http://example.mydomain.local/perfsonar-graphs/metaKeyReq.cgi?ma_url=%maUrl&eventType=%event.delayBuckets&srcRaw=%row&dstRaw=%col&count=0&bucket_width=0"

Chenan
