Please note that perfSONAR UI service is a separate central UI implementation and has no dependency on the perfSONAR toolkit.

Please share the info about the version of Tomact you are using and the memory size. Did you follow these instructions on the deployment http://docs.perfsonar.net/install_psui.html ?

I just deployed the perfSONAR UI server on the CentOS VM (this VM has actually the full toolkit installed) and I’m unable to make the UI work.

In the tomcat6 logs I see the following errors:

        at org.apache.openjpa.jdbc.schema.DataSourceFactory.newConnectException(DataSourceFactory.java:254)

        at org.apache.openjpa.jdbc.schema.DataSourceFactory.installDBDictionary(DataSourceFactory.java:240)

        at org.apache.openjpa.jdbc.conf.JDBCConfigurationImpl.getConnectionFactory(JDBCConfigurationImpl.java:733)

 

Looks that this is the error assiciated with the Derby Java classes.

I see that there’s a Derby class in the application directory:

 

/usr/share/perfsonar-ui-web/perfsonar-ui/WEB-INF/lib/derby-10.11.1.1.jar

 

I’m not very well with the tomcat/java, sorry so absolutely out of ideas what to do next…

 

Any help will be VERY appreciated!
