Hi Ryan,

Please note there is already such initiative https://github.com/perfsonar/central-management/tree/master/config-management/puppet from which you could borrow. Please test thoroughly since, it is not labeled as production ready.

You will most probably find the answers to your questions there.

Best regards,

Ivan

Subject: [perfsonar-user] Perfsonar configuration

Hi,

I am trying to puppetize the installation and configuration of perfsonar. I was wondering if you had any tips for accomplishing such a task. I am also had a question. Do I need to do a full installation/configuration on all the machines I want to monitor? Are there only three files configure for the software to work is the meshconfig, ipconfig, and the agent_configuration? Or are there more? What do I need to configure to make two machines monitor.   I am trying to follow your instructions while trying to get a test set up a test with two machines in a closed network.

Thanks,

Ryan
