Greetings,
This morning I tried to install the v3.4.2 x86_64 toolkit v3.4.2 on a
system with an 11TB RAID disk partition. The intent is to use this machine
as a measurement archive. I know that 11TB is overkill, but it is a system
that I have available for the purpose. When the installer got to the point
of asking where and how I wanted to install Linux, I chose to use the whole
space, and selected both sda (around 290 GB) and sdb (around 11TB). The
installer then threw a bunch of python errors related to sdb, and offered to
let me file a bug report, which I did. I then started the installation
process over again, but this time unselected sdb. Unfortunately, the install
failed with similar (maybe the same?) errors.

Is there a workaround that does not involve me going into the RAID
controller and mucking about with volume definitions? I’d like to use the
large space for the measurement archive, and am perfectly willing to make
changes to directories and mount points after the installation, if I can only
get perfSONAR to install in the first place. :-)

Thanks,
/Chris
