perfSONAR User Q&A and Other Discussion

Hi.

Following toolkit instances of mine haven't been (they were before..) showing up on esnet services directory.

http://perfsonar-lt.grid.iu.edu/toolkit/

http://perfsonar-bw.grid.iu.edu/toolkit/

Both of them are configured for "OSG" community, so it should show up in here (but they are not) I think.

Does anyone know what's wrong with my instances?

I also notice from your main toolkit web page it can't find the MTU either. Looks like there is some issue getting interface info. Could you send me the following logs:

/var/log/perfsonar/discover_exernal_address.log

/var/log/perfsonar/ls_registration_daemon.log

Hopefully those will give some info on what is happening.

When did you do the upgrade? It might take a day or so for it to appear. You can run "/etc/init.d/ls_registration_daemon restart" to speed things up slightly, but still might be a few hours before it gets on the GUI. If its been a few days already and you are not seeing it, can you send me the name of your host?
