GEANT is currently using RHEL 6 with Puppet as automation for the deployment.

Hi Jan,

Anecdata: we've used RHEL 6 here at IU, and it works very well. There's a
little more effort involved that simply using the install CD, but the process
for the L1/L2 installs works:
