Hi Aaron,

How to use the script? What options should I use?

# /opt/perfsonar_ps/topology_service/scripts/load_topology

Error: you must specify an existing topology input file

/opt/perfsonar_ps/topology_service/scripts/load_topology: loads a topology into a database replacing the existing topology elements.

[--debug] [--help] [--output=NORMALIZED_TOPOLOGY_FILE] [--db_dir=DATABASE_DIRECTORY] [--db_filename=DATABASE_FILENAME] [--uri=REMOTE_TOPOLOGY_ARCHIVE] INPUT_FILE

What I want is to reset the topology db.

There’s a “load_topology” script included with the TS. This can be used to load a topology file into the database.

The easiest way is to delete everything except DB_CONFIG (if present) from /var/lib/perfsonar/topology_service and then to restart the TS, and reload the DB.
