Hi all,

I saw the following error message in the log file:

Sep 28 14:27:50 mach1 bwctld[21596]: FILE=bwctld.c, LINE=442, Reservation Status: time=1411939670 action="remove" sender=128.120.218.218 receiver=128.120.242.114 tool=iperf res_start=1411939646 res_end=1411939670 test_start=1411939648

It probably means that when we change the name of the perfsonar node, some variable in the database was not set properly.  Is there any way that I can completely remove the reference to one particular node and start all over again for this particular node?  Do I need to remove the record from the previous month?

Thank you.

It was the production version of 3.3 something.  Thank you.

Hi Zhi-Wei,

Are you using the 3.4 RC release or an earlier version? The GUI and backend for this has changed considerably in the 3.4 version so it would help to know which one to look at when debugging. Judging by your remark of data in the database table I am guessing pre 3.4 but wanted to double check.

Thanks,

-Dan

Hi all,

We have a few perfsonar nodes and we configure band width tests between them.  Let us call hosts A and B,  on both hosts we configured BW test between them.  On host A, we see throughput between A and B on both direction, however, on host B, I only see GUI display of Src-Dst, not Dst-Src throughput.  We did change the FQDN of host B (kept the same IP), the old name is a CNAME to the new FQDN for host B.

If I manually run “bwctl -s A” and ”bwctl –c A”  from host B, the tests work just fine. It appears that the data in the database table appears to be just fine (bwctl.201409_DATA).

Thank you for your suggestions to fix this issue.
