Trey:

We are in the middle of testing this now, but initial results seem to indicate that yes, as long as owamp is on its own NIC, its OK for both to be on the same host.

We hope to a more details on our testing public soon.

Does this new feature of using separate NICs for owamp and bw tests mean that it would be acceptable to run those services on the same host as long as a separate interface is used for each?  I recall there being a recommendation to keep bw and owamp tests separate (not on same host) so currently we have a dedicated host for each.  Would this 3.4 feature allow both sets of tests to reliably run on a single host with a dual port NIC?

Thanks,
