Hi Row,
The scripts Christoph shared should do what you want I believe. The backup
script just grabs important config files, like the test definitions and
creates a tarball. The restore script pulls out those files and puts them
back in place. It should work going from CentOS5 -> CentOS 6 or when going
from CentOS6 -> CentOS6. They were written with both cases in mind, though
admittedly I haven't tried the latter case in awhile. In theory it should
still work.
