Hi,
I have run the command with -e flag but it shows following result:
[root@kahuku ~]# bwping -s 198.129.254.58 -e 180.211.191.42
Invalid -e: Syslog facility "180.211.191.42" unknown
In my system, eflag shows " -e syslog facility to log to ".
I am using perfsonar version '3.3.2".

If the receiving side isn’t running bwctl, you can add the “-E” parameter to the bwping command, and it will run anyway.

Now if I change the receive host in the above command with another IP where no bwctl running, get error:
