I've had problems with the configurator with the Live-CD. What I find is that when I touch the interface with the python config program, ONBOOT gets set to "no" and so, on the next boot, I need to fix it with a text editor from the console. This has happened more than once and seems repeatable.

Hey Jeremy,
We’ve seen a number of static network related issues with RedHat. I’m not sure why the stock installation and network configuration scripts seem to regularly produce broken static network configurations. We don’t do anything special for them.
Cheers,
Aaron
