CONCERN: upgrade to 3.3.2 broke /var/log/messages

Recently upgraded from an original install of 3.3.1. Upgraded to 3.3.2.

After updating, there were no system messages being written to: 
/var/log/messages

It seems /etc/rsyslog.conf was modified during upgrade by: 
/opt/perfsonar_ps/toolkit/scripts/system_environment/configure_syslog_local5_location
That script added an additional "-" in front of /var/log/messages, making it 
--/var/log/messages

That caused rsyslog not to write at all to /var/log/messages.

Fixed this by editing /etc/rsyslog.conf, changing it back to: 
-/var/log/messages
Then restarting rsyslog service.
