Dear Sam,

 

many thanks for your message. The playground functionality was removed from the current version of the perfSONAR UI (0.21) because it was not required for our current users (NOC and PERT engineers), being a deployment debug functionality and not a network monitoring one.

 

However, we believe that having such functionality could help developers and deployers (thank for your feedback!!) and we are currently working to re-introduce the playground functionality in a version of the UI packaged for advanced users.

 

You’ll find it on the http://perfsonar.geant.net website, under “Resources” in the next future.

I’ll notify you when it will be available.

Hi All,

I'm trying to get perfSONAR set up but I'm not even finding the playground tab (which makes it hard to troubleshoot). I'm trying to figure out why the SQL MA isn't installing correctly, as I'm going through the basic set up and the test is failing, but I'm wondering if trying an echo through the playground would help give a bit more information.
