Hi Herbert;
There is not a tutorial for upgrading but you can read the INSTALL/README files that are included in the package. The important files/directories are:
- etc/daemon.conf: The LS daemon configuration file
- etc/daemon_logger.conf: The LS daemon logger file
- xmldb: The directory that contains the stored registration data.
You can back up the first two and most likely use them again for 3.2 (you may want to check to be sure there are no new options specified). The stored registrations in xmldb can be saved, but since this is a very dynamic database all services will re-register within a couple of hours.
Let us know if you run into any problems. Thanks;

Hi all,
there is a tutorial with the upgrade of Lookup Service perfSONAR-PS
3.1 to 3.2? As the tar installation is with scripts I am afraid of
damaging my 3.1 version.
