We're preparing a new release of the Lookup Service. It might be easier to use the new packages than to try and debug why the CPAN install isn't working. You can grab a tarball at packrat.internet2.edu/~aaron/perfSONAR_PS-LookupService.tar.gz (note: this will not be its permanent home). When you untar the service, there are install instructions in "perfSONAR_PS-LookupService/doc/INSTALL". Let me know if you have any issues with that.

I'm not sure why it's not seeing the Perl module as its in the right spot, and the directory is in PERLINC. Are you installing on RH or Ubuntu?

That error looks like whatever path CPAN is installing to isn't in the PERLLIB path. Do an "updatedb" and then "locate LS.pm" and see which directory it got installed to.
