The reason is the Populate option doesn't retrieve any data into the table; you would need Retrieve All option in order to get summary data into the table.
The later could be slow; this is the main reason Populate option was introduced some time before.

"Retrieve all" menu the data retrieves summary is for the last 15 min (see Options/Summary stats on the left) but for the details (bottom chart) the default is 3 days.

Could you please provide more details, it is hard to help without.

How do you populate MA? How do you query MA? Do you see any interfaces?
Is the status N/A for all interfaces, or for the service itself?
Try sending test XML messages from playground and see if they return data.

Dear Vicky,

You could try a simple test via Playground tab - just paste 
http://140.110.209.194:8180/geant2-java-rrd-ma  into service address 
box and click Query.  The successful response is an XML message with 
success code. The responce below indicates there is something wrong 
with this RRD MA, please check the configurations.
