Dear Maciej or all,
In the implementation of the lookup service I did not understand as key of the
service is used.
The key of a service is always its AccessPoint?
Hi Herbert,
You're right. The key is always an accessPoint.
We assumed the accessPoint was the unique element of a Lookup Information. We needed something that would distinguish one Lookup Information from another.
During registration within LS, accessPoint is always converted (copied) into the key and sent back to the client.
Basing on that key, the client knows what is database ID of new registered Lookup Information and may request other actions such as deregistration (remove), keepalive or update.
I hope the explanation helps.
Maciej
