Hi Murilo and Antoine,

You can register a new service with the lookup service if you have an eventtype for it.

But, the directorySearch tool uses a static list to create the display. So, if your service is not in the static list, it will not get displayed. I am adding an issue in our issue tracker for this.

Currently 4 types of MAs are part of this list: perfSONARBUOY-OWAMP, perfSONARBUOY-BWCTL, SNMP, PingER. (It is listed under "Services")

Hi All,

Looking at the directorySearch tool I have the same kind of questions as
Murilo has.  How is built the list in Measurement Tools and Services?  Is it
a dynamic or static list?  Is it based on some eventType registered by the
tool/service with the hLS?  Why are the MA not present as such in this
directory?

I'm trying to debug the registration of an RRDMA from PIONIER to the gLS
cloud and knowing how this directory works could help me.

store measurement data to OWAMP, OWAMP Summary, OWAMP Powstream, PING, BWCTL

Archives (MA)”? The intention is that our services could be visible to the
perfSONAR infrastructure.
