I had a quick look into the code for the FlowSA tab and the url field you mention is used to define routers which are added in the request metadata section. For example if you put URL *XYZ* then in the requests sent there will be a section:

 

<nmwgtopo3:node id="router1"><nmwgtopo3:hostName>test-router.lab.test-net</nmwgtopo3:hostName>

</nmwgtopo3:node>
