Hi Testers/developers

perfSONAR MDM 3.3 comes nearer, so it's time to start with testing the 
components of it.
I will summarize the current standing regarding the release in the 
following.
I added also  to this email, i think it would be 
good to find some more volunteers for testing, if possible.
Testing should be done in collaboration between developer and tester, I 
think it's the most efficient way for us.

What's the goal:

The following perfSONAR components will be present in the 3.3 release 
(indicating developer / tester):

- perfSONAR base NN / NN
- perfSONAR base2 - Piotr Pikusa, Slawomir Trzaszczka / NN
- Lookup Service - Slawomir Trzaszczka / Ivan Ivanovic
- Authentication Service - Cándido Rodríguez Montes /Ivan Ivanovic, 
Mario Reale
- RRD Measurement Archive - Piotr Pikusa / Piotr Pikusa, Krzysztof Nowak
- SQL Measurement Archive - Piotr Pikusa / Piotr Pikusa, Krzysztof Nowak
- SSH/Telnet Measurement Point - Blazej Pietrzak / Ivan Ivanovic, Mario 
Reale, Chris Welti, Blazej Pietrzak
- BWCTL Measurement Point - WiN-Labor / Chris Welti, Fausto Vetter
(- Command Line Measurement Point) NN / NN
- E2EMon Measurement Point - Mark Yampolskiy / NN

The following major features will be available by 3.3:

- An Authentication and authorization Service must provide 
authentication and authorization mechanisms for other perfSONAR 
services, so that access to shared resources can be controlled. All 
services contained on this release must be using authentication
- All services contained on this release must support LS registration
- All services contained on this release must support WebAdmin interface
- The existing RRD Measurement Archive, Lookup Service and 
Authentication Service must support perfSONAR base2 as detailed under 
each component

Some hints:

On the testing site of geant wiki 
(http://wiki.geant.net/bin/view/SA2/T3SoftwareTestingArea), you can find 
the main issues regarding testing. The testing guidelines are available 
there also.

There are columns called "status" and "pending bugs" in the product's 
list. It would be of great help, if the responsible people could insert 
the corresponding content.

Please remind that the repository and the bugzilla are locked at the 
moment, until GEANT SVN and Jira is ready to use.
