perfsonar development work

Hi all,

there must be something similar in RPM. At least my openSUSE system has 
already informed me from time to time that one package will replace another 
one. But I have no idea how it is done. Perhaps not directly by RPM, but by 
zypper that is the openSUSE counterpart of yum.
